We live in a remarkable time. So much has happened (read: changed) in the last 3 years alone in The Netherlands and the world. More than ever it is important to be fully connected with our power supply, God, who protects us against the attacks from the enemy. More than ever it is important to keep the door closed to evil that wants to get us in it’s grip. Keep saying no to your fleshly desires because God is on your side and fights for you.
I want to share a couple of prophetic impressions with you that I received lately. It always amazes me how God’s words are contrary to what we think and perceive is right but these impressions are confirmed by others and that gives me safety.
1 Kings 18:41-46
41 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” 42 So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. 43 “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea. ”So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you. ’”45 Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. 46 The power of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.
Jesus led me to this piece of scripture. I saw a little cloud in a barren and dry landscape and it grew into enormous rainclouds that soon wetted the earth with water. We are living today in this barren and dry landscape but that is about to change. This water will fill those who are spiritually thirsty and quickens them but also much of the earth and many who are on it. We are the hands and feet of Jesus and this shall become evident to all. This will not just be revival but more than that, reformation. God wants a new reformation. That means all (human) layers and structures of society will be filled with Him.
A few months later God spoke and said that the heavens are filled with (spiritual) water and shall be poured out in His time but there are certain conditions. One condition He mentioned is He wants new and righteous political leadership that honors God’s word, people and society as a whole.
Shall we pray together that this will come? Pray for the governments, politicians and rulers (1 Tim.2:1,2) and let us see a change when darkness is expelled from our nation! Our help comes from the Lord and there is no other in which we put our trust. God bless you and the nation where you live!
