We thank You for the initiative of “Week van gebed voor eenheid” that starts today till 24 Jan. We thank You for the plan, the leadership, and all the resources that have been poured into it. We come together in unity as people who believe in the name of Jesus, and the blood of the lamb, we say to Him be glory and power forever and ever!
We now turn our attention to believers whose mouth has confessed and hearts have believed that Jesus is Lord and believed that God has raised Him from the dead (Rm 10:9). Father God, work in our hearts. If there is any unforgiveness that we are still holding on against our brothers or sisters in Christ, bring it to our remembrance. We choose to forgive those who have hurt us; We choose to release the pain into Your hands, Lord; We choose to break the chain of unforgiveness because Lord You have forgiven us, so we also must forgive (Col 3:13). Repair the bridges between us with Your love and guide us to hang on to Your grace, which teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2:12). Sanctify our heart O Lord, and we welcome Your healing power to come swiftly and powerfully to break the chain of unforgiveness. Lead us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us (Eph 4:32).
In Jesus’s name, our brother who shed His blood for us we pray, amen.
