Pray this together (week of 18/3/2019)

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity… For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore” (Psalm 133:1, 3b).

God Almighty, blessed be Your Name! You are one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit! We give thanks to you for being the source and foundation of unity. We thank you for the way the Holy Spirit is drawing us, Your body, together.

God, You bestow Your blessing, even life forevermore, when we live together in unity. Jesus, you have prayed for complete unity so that the world may believe (John 17:23) and know unity with God (John 17, 21, 24). Your Holy Spirit, God, is the means of unity. Your Holy Spirit unites us, Jesus.

We repent, oh God, for judging each other, for being proud and arrogant as individuals, families, and churches. We pray that You will help us, the body of Christ in The Hague, across the different denominations, to make relationships under your kingdom, perfectly united in Your Spirit. Make our hearts hungry for revival in The Hague. For where two or three hungry hearts are gathered together in the cause of revival, You, God, are there. And your presence, God, unites us in a supernatural unity.

Lord Jesus Christ, in your name, we pray that we may all agree with one another in what we say and that there be no divisions among us, but that we will be perfectly united in mind and thought. (1 Cor. 1:10). Sanctify us by the truth, which is your word (John 17: 17). Help us to love one another so that we will be the witnesses for The Hague to know who You are, Jesus, and for the love that the Father has for this city.

Bring us to complete unity, You in us and we in You, Jesus (John 17:26a) in order that The Hauge will believe in You.

In Your Name, Jesus, we pray. Amen!
